Extraneous Earrings

Most likely, you have more than one pair of earrings in your jewelry box (or if you're like me - some random place) that you don't wear. Maybe you are bored with them. Perhaps they were a gift that just won't go with anything in your closet. Or could it be that you bought them for yourself, because they were a must have, even though you knew you had nothing to wear them with?

I have a bit of a strange confession. I have a total of 14 piercings in my ears and probably actually own only 12 pair of earrings! I wear 7 pair of small diamond studs that I rarely ever take out. I shower and sleep in them and occasionally will replace the first two with something else for the day. Even then, I have about 3 pair that go with one outfit each and 2 pair that I'm just not crazy about.

So if I have such a limited selection and still have a few to spare, I'm certain there are women out there with at least one pair they'd be willing to give up in anticipation of getting something they love even more!

If you'd like to join our first swap, just follow the instructions listed on our sidebar.

I'd like for everyone to swap a pair of earrings that you already own and include a little note about how you acquired them. However, if you don't have any to spare, you are welcome to send a store-bought pair instead. I'd like to encourage you to support your local economy if you do purchase a new pair though. Shop from a small business in your area and include some details about them when you send your package!
